Litchfield inn is located in beautiful Pawleys Island, SC. Pawleys Island is found just some miles south of the Myrtle Beach. The area is home to the most well liked beach on the east coast of the united states.
The giant holiday maker months are June, July and August. During that time the grand Strand will bring over 13 million visitors to the area. Pawleys Island though will get a lot less traveller than the busy downtown Myrtle Beach area. So that the area is normally less crowded and offers the sensation of a tiny beach town. The island itself is only about 4 miles long and is one of the oldest resorts in America.
Litchfield Inn is a classic beach front resort that features 125 guest rooms all with a tropical decor. Not only is it conviently located to all the major holiday maker attractions, it's just about ten mins from downtown important Georgetown, SC.
Pawleys Island also have world renowned eateries. In the past the area was known for fishing boats that would dock in Murrells Inlets and Georgetown. Murrells Inlet is found just minutes from Pawleys Island and has been called the Seafood Capital of the planet. The area has some of the best seafood restaurants that offer bog front dinning and often live entertainment.
Litchfield inn is also close to many of the best golf courses in the area. Lots of the Pawleys Island golf Courses were built on what use to be old historic rice plantations. Most of them still have remains of some of the old plantation homes.
